‘The Career DevelopMentor’ participated at Career Day at Bronx Bridges High School (BBHS) in Bronx, New York. BBHS is comprised of students of diverse cultural, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds. For many of the students, this was their first introduction to the professional world beyond the classroom. Some students are recent immigrants and had limited English language. During the event ‘The Career DevelopMentor’ spoke to students about a wide range of topics, which included – selecting a major in college, internships, time management, work ethics, networking and volunteering.
